So noisy
These shoes are cute and comfortable out of the box (only just got them), but they are the squeakiest, nosiest shoe ive ever tried on. They squeak with any movement, not the bottom but all of the straps that generally move when a foot moves. They also already look a little scuffed so I’m worried that they will be very easy to scuff. I can’t say how they hold up because ive only just tried them, but I’m already disappointed because I don’t think I want to walk around and constantly annoy myself with the sound of the shoes. I also noticed some markings on the interior heel which look dirty :( for brand new shoes advertised to be so nice, I’m bummed

When the pain is not worth the beauty
I had saved these multi-colored snake print sandals to my wish list for months and finally bit the bullet when they went on sale, but I’m now disappointed because the stiff ankle strap rests just under the bone and causes pain as soon as I stand up. No matter how I adjusted the strap – which is Velcro, by the way, and not long enough of a Velcro strip to be truly customizable – I couldn’t avoid the pain. Another dislike is the squelching (aka flatulence) sound with every step.
They probably also run a quarter size too small. I am a size 8 in Converse and 8.5 in Nike so I figured 8.5 in these would be a safe bet. They turned out to be slightly small with the tips of my toes grazing the edge of the footbed. Another half size up to a 9 would have been too large and caused my foot to slide around and hit against the strap even more.
I do really like the combination of colors against the chunky black tread sole, though. I have a closet full of neutral clothes and shoes and these are fun and funky enough to liven up my outfits without going too far outside my comfort zone. If not for the flaws, I would have kept them, especially at the sale price.
