24.7 ImpossiblySoft Dri-FIT Pants

Great pants but these run very very big and I mean baggy big. For reference, I’m 6’2” 208lbs and generally wear medium/large pants and I had to size down to a small in these. They are perfect and “form fitting” pants for me in small. Mediums were way to baggy around the legs and I have an athletic build, as well. Not sure what it is with this material but it’s cut very large. Definitely size down 1 whole size

I tried these pants on in the store and loved them. Bought a couple, took them home, and ran them through the laundry. Once I opened up the dryer to grab these out, I noticed that a drawstring was lying by itself. Heartbroken, I immediately thought that my dryer had somehow cut the drawstring only to discover the second drawstring also lying by itself “cut” in the same fashion and the same length. Obviously, that’s too much of a coincidence which prompted me to look at the pants itself. Turns out, the drawstring is stitched into the waistband on each side almost to where the seams run. However, either the stitching was missed on this pair of pants or it will eventually fall apart. I’m personally hoping for the former as the second pair made it through the wash intact and the stitching is holding. I plan to order another pair in the same color after returning these broken ones but I am now debating if I should take them to a shop to get the stitching reinforced. This is a critical design flaw if the stitching is too weak to hold and one that Nike should consider rectifying. Fit-wise, this runs a bit large. I normally wear 3X and went down to a 2X after trying this in the store. Definitely try these on first before buying because I was surprised. The looks are stunning and I loved the combos I was able to pull off in the store with these. I am literally mourning that this incident occurred and hope that the second pair I order will reveal this to be a one-off issue.

I must admit these pants are very soft and comfortable, but the style of them is a thumbs down. I am a true large, I ordered them in a medium because of the size chart. The elasticised waist is a tad snug, but the pant leg was fine. But if I ordered this in large, the pant leg would be too loose and baggy as will the waist. The style was just awful. I’m 6 ft tall and the pant leg was short for my height. While the rest of the pant was relaxed, the pant leg drastically narrowed and tapered down. Just an odd fit, at least on me.
