What it does: The 210 Precise Eyeliner Brush is ideal for precision lining of the eye area or body detailing and design. It features an extra-fine tip and has smooth, synthetic fibers of just the right length and density for lining the eyes. MAC professional brushes are hand-sculpted and assembled using the finest quality materials. They feature wood handles and nickel-plated brass ferrules.
How to use: Apply eyeliner onto the brush then to your lash lines with an upward flick at the outer corners for lift.

Necessity IMHO
I am nowhere near a makeup expert or guru, but I consider the MAC 210 brush essential to applying my eyeliner. I use the gel pots from either Bobbi Brown (fave), Tarte, or Clarins (least fave), and after every use I just rinse with soap and water. I had 2 of them and lasted 10 years and still worked amazing. My toddler either hid them, or I tried to hide them from him and cannot find them so had to buy another one. I took a picture of the 210, 209, 209SE so you can see the precise brush tip the MAC 210 provides.

Why isn’t there a cap?
Have to majorly dock this because it does not come with a cap for the brush, so it is impossible to travel with (unless you are ok with your makeup bag getting a ton of residue in it). It’s also too fin of a brush for my taste (I prefer a tad thicker), but I’m not taking any stars off on that account because I feel like that’s just my personal preference. Biggest thing is that it’s a pain to store or travel with since there isn’t a cap, so I am throwing it away so that it doesn’t mess up my makeup drawer or bag. It does come with a tiny clear sleeve, but it’s temporary and gets nasty after a few uses and will not stay on.

Beginners Delight
I just recieved this brush in the mail yesterday and tried it out on both my mac fluidlines that I own as well as a Bobbi Brown gel liner and I have to say I love this brush SO much that I can not believe that I ever lived with out it. I dipped the brush in the pot and was able to line both my eyes with perfection without tugging on my eyelids. Line goes on thin and can be thickened to whatever kind of line you desire. I have 2 Mac liquid liners and for some reason I have a hard time applying them...I would throw them out if I hadn't paid so much for them because I realize all I need is Fluidline and this brush and I am all set in seconds.

Best brush for precision lining
I've tried this brush as well as the 209 and this one is much better for getting a really thin, precise line. It gives you a lot of control and is probably the best brush for beginners.

Perfect Brush!
This one is extremely a perfect fine brush if you are looking for a very thin precision, whether it be a liquid liner or a gel one or even a powder one this brush really works very well.

Precise Indeed
I was a bit skeptical on buying this brush due to the price! This will be my 3rd eyeliner brush and none have been what I was looking for. When the package arrived I thought, this isn't going to work. It looked much too small. Little did I know it was exactly what I needed. It's perfect for getting the inner eye but takes a little more time creating a wing. Overall I am satisfied with this purchase. I use it with my Gucci gel liner.

Exactly what I was looking for!
I bought this to use with MAC's Fluidline gel-based eyeliner.
It is exactly what you would need to make precise, fine lines that can still be made thicker if that's how you like it.
No reason to complain so far!
