Moab Mesa Luxe Hiking Shoe (Men)

Bought this about a year ago and I am reviewing it again as I think it’s important: It’s a great pair of shoes - comfy, a little stiff but it shouldn’t be surprising with such shoes and I wear them almost everyday. The only major downside is that it has poor water resistance. Stand for a minute in heavy rain and you’ll have wet feet. For its price I would’ve expected something higher in quality, but at least they’re stylish and comfy. If you’re looking for something more outdoor-related with better water resistance, I would not pick these shoes.

Weird defect: one shoe was smaller than the other and pinched after first wearing out - I certainly couldn’t hike in these. I contacted Merrell but never got any result. I had bought another pair of Merrell sneakers in the same order and have had lots of Merrells in the past…but these seem to have been made improperly.

What can I say, I like Merrells. I've had four pair over the years. Three of them, I can, and do still wear. The Moab Mesa Luxe 1TRL was already reasonably priced and I got a promotional discount. It's my everyday shoe. It's just as good on the trail as it is in my classroom! Love the shoe! Love the brand!
