Great casual blazer
I was worried after I placed the order and then saw all the negative reviews. But I think this blazer is really good! It fits well, the fabric is nice and it looks great with jeans and a tee.

buttons fell off after wearing twice
I am extremely disappointed in Nordstrom and this product. I bought this blazer planning to wear it to work, to look sophisticated and polished when I go to meetings as a newly appointed department head. After only two wears, I noticed that two of the buttons had fallen off. This is upsetting because I now have to accept that I spent almost $100 on a product that now is shabby and unpolished, unsophisticated. It's now useless to me for the purpose I had of purchasing. I either have to accept this or go on a wild goose chase looking for matching buttons and thread so that I can do the work of putting it back together. This was not what I expected when I chose to shop at Nordstrom. I am a teacher and cannot afford to just replace this. Nordstrom and this brand should stand by their products.

horrible fit
I was taken back by the cheap quality of this jacket. It has a terrible fit. The jacket body was ok, not to my fit but ok. The sleeves are way to tight, small for a medium unless you have really skinny arms. The material was the worst. The cheapest fabric ever and the lining was some sort of stretch nylon, it just horrible on. I am 5’3”, 142. It looks cheap too.

Be sure to know it's FAUX
Yes, in a rush of Anniversary Sale ordering I didn't realize that a"faux" double breasted blazer is only able to be worn open (there are no buttonholes at all.) Also I did not realize that this also had permanently ruched/gathered sleeves, which I didn't love either.
Also I think this runs small. I'm a 34 bust size 4/6 with narrow shoulders and the small just fit me. If I were keeping this I'd probably want the medium.

Great affordable blazer!!
I've been on the hunt for a great affordable classic black blazer and this one checks all the boxes! The material is nice and sturdy (unlike the black checked on by 1.state). I love the double breasted look but I would never button it up so the faux aspect was great!! I alway dress down my blazers by pushing my sleeves up anyways so even the ruching was perfect!! Love this!!

A Great Basic that you can dress up or down.
I needed to replace my basic black blazer as it’s seen better days. I didn’t want to spend a bunch but needed something lined, with actual pockets, had a great shape and was flattering, not too thick material for these Florida summers and could dress up or down for work or casual. I personally love the ruched sleeves so no issue there. The fit in the arms was definitely not tight on me and my upper arms aren’t slim at all. I agree with the comments about the front clasp as it is very visible but the other positives make it up. The odd clasp is the only reason I took off a star. I’m going to try removing it altogether. No regrets with this purchase. Love the jacket.
