1ct Princess Cut Lab Grown Diamond Studs 14K Gold

I saw the reviews about the less than ideal earring backs so I’ve been careful about checking my earrings to make sure they’re still secure. Except one day I forgot until I was in the bathtub washing my hair, and of course, one earring was missing. I’ve only been wearing them for about a month. I used an extra bright spotlight to search my house and fortunately found it in my child’s room on her floor. That was so lucky. Even though they’re lab created diamonds, and look nice btw, they’re still real gold, expensive, and shouldn’t just fall off like that. Now I’m on the hunt for better earring backs. So far nothing feels secure. There are a few locking options on Amazon, but I need to know the gauge size of the earring post. If someone can comment with that information, I would appreciate it. Or send better earring backs. If 14k gold bends too easily, use something else for that part. Maybe stainless steel? I shouldn’t have to be checking to see if my earrings are still in my ears 25 times a day.
