No thanks
I have SO MANY pairs of 1822 maternity jeans, and these shorts fit very different in comparison to jean sizing. The waist/stomach/pelvic area is much tighter vs the same size in jeans. The material is nice but overall these are pretty frumpy.

Maternity shorts
The panel on these shorts are very soft and cover the entire bump. I am 4’9” and these shorts actually stay up. They can be worn with hem rolled up or down.

These are great! My go to for the last few months of pregnancy as it gets warm. They don’t look like maternity when you wear with a shirt/tank and they are very comfortable and a great length (and can roll up).

Great maternity basic!
Super cute shorts! A maternity closet staple. I hadn’t bought this brand before but I got my usual jean size. I’m 5’6” and pre-pregnancy I was 140 lbs. I’m currently 18 weeks pregnant and probably a bit over 150 lbs now and the size 28 fits great. I probably could’ve gone one size up since sometimes I want a less snug belly band (but it is super stretchy and does fit at this size). My one complaint about these shorts is that on 100% of occasions I wear them on a plane, it doesn’t pass the body scan at security (there is a very small bump in the front where the spandex meets the jeans) and I need to get pat down. Other than that it’s great!
