Butter High Waist Jeggings

I have purchased 5 pairs of the 1822 denim butter jeans in the past 2 years. At first i thought they were great and so comfortable! But after a couple months the crotch literally pills up and falls apart. Do not buy, they are reasonably priced and comfy but not worth it. I have never had jeans do this before and it is so annoying. I should have learned after the first pair did it but what can I say? I purchased my first pair and over-zealously bought 3 more. Then one pair started getting holes in the crotch and I repurchased it, only for the rest of the jeans to do the same. DO NOT BUY.

I discovered this brand at a discount retailer and they quickly became my favorite jeans/jeggings. I agree that drying them definitely faded the black color fast, so don’t put em in the dryer. They also began pilling really bad where my upper thighs brush each other walking. They only lasted about 15 mo. before the pilling started. When I tried to anti-pill, it just created holes. I did buy this particular pair from Nordstrom and they do fit large, but I felt the rear pocket placement is inconsistent and not flattering. Bought 2 more pairs from my discount retailer on clearance, which is a fine price for a pant that only lasts 1.5 yrs, but wouldn’t buy em at full price.

I think these are a good value for the price point. I only wear black jeans occasionally so I think they'll hold up fine for as much as I will wear them. They are very comfortable. They will NOT be holding anything in, though, so be aware that these are more of a 'comfy' jean. I am typically a size 4 with a round butt and athletic legs. I sized down to a 2 based on other reviews. After wearing them for about 20 minutes, I wish they were a zero. I feel like I need to wash and dry them every time so they fit tighter.
