Bummed about this
It looks beautiful on the outside, but the inside is rough and stained our knives. These are the black professional Wusthof series too, so not a cheap set to ruin. But something about the finish inside permanently stained them and our other knives.
You'll want to clean the inside out and then get mineral oil in the slots to prevent this.

Nice block
Opted for build a block. Very nice block. Larger than the one I was upgrading from. Although I like it fine, I should've opted for a bigger block.

Exceeds our expectations!
It’s a perfect fit and looks terrific on our counter. It’s actually smaller, takes up less space than our old knife block yet holds more knives.
