What it is: A nourishing light cream powered by actives that improve skin barrier function.

What it does: Formulated with surgical precision by Dr. Yannis Alexandrides and powered by the brand's proprietary NAC Y2 complex and hyaluronic acid, this hydrating cream is ideal for dehydrated, dull, premature and sensitive skin. The light version helps restore and shield your complexion against environmental aggressors.

Key ingredients:

- Escin: an active compound that naturally boosts the body's ability to calm inflammation, found in the form of horse chestnut extract, and known for assisting in the reduction of dark spots and redness

- Vitamin complex: a combination of vitamin A, C, E, F and H that repairs damaged skin and shields against environmental aggressors

- Hyaluronic acid: provides instant and long-lasting hydration

How to use: Distribute a pea-sized amount of the Day Cream between your fingertips and apply to your face, neck and décolletage using upward, circular motions to massage the product into skin.

Good
This serum is generally quite good. It wasn't spectacular but I did see minimal difference in my skin texture after using it for about a month. The difference is however not as big as I expected it to be, so a little disappointed. However the texture is amazing and feels very light on your skin, which makes me happy.

just okay
I received a good size sample of this day cream. I am not overwhelmed by it. I like lots of 1111skin's products, like its Black Diamond Brightening Essence, and its mask of the same series. However, while I find the day cream refreshing, I am not wowed by its texture, a bit hard to absorb initially. I tried to spread and warm it in the palm before applying it to the skin, it takes a while to melt. Not a great fan. Given the price i'd pass.

Nice but too expensive
I had a smaller jar of this cream for cash points and while it is perfectly adequate, I would not go for a full-size – it is very moisturising, absorbs quickly, does not cause any irritation and sits well under makeup, but this is all I could notice, I would not say it had any pronounced other effect. One obviously has to be realistic with anything that a cream could do beyond the age of 40 and this is a very pleasant product, but there are many similar and more competitively priced alternatives on the market
