Gibson Twist Front Fleece Top

This is a beautiful and comfortable sweater, and I love the fabric and style. You can dress it up or down, pair it with jeans, dress pants, or skirt, and it looks awesome with all. My only complaint is the crazy sizing! On the Nordstrom website it says that the product runs large and to order a size down. I'm 5'2" and wear a size S/4, so following the recommendations on the site, I ordered a petite XS. While the petite sizing is more narrow, the sweater is entirely too short. The twist in the sweater was above the waist line of my jeans. I returned it and purchased the regular length XS. This sweater was enormous on me, both too wide and way too long. I would compare it to a typical size M. I tried a third time, and ordered a petite length S. This fit similarly to the petite XS, with a very attractive and comfortable width, but also WAY too short. I was about to give up, but I felt optimistic that the 4th time would work. I went back to regular length, XXS, and it was perfect. So, bottom line is that this is a great sweater, but I went to a lot of effort, buying and returning, to find the right size that fit. My biggest recommendation would be to stay away from the petite length, even if you are actually a petite person because the sweater is too short in the front. If you want a fit that looks like the picture, I'd recommend a regular length, and 2 sizes down from normal. Hope this is helpful.

I really loved these sweaters, but unfortunately they got a bit fuzzy after being washed. Not terribly, but I washed two of the sweaters on gentle in a garment bag, then used a drying rack to air dry and they were noticeably fuzzy. I'm guessing after another wash or two they won't be nice enough for work anymore. I returned the 3rd unopened sweater because of this issue. Otherwise they are very soft, comfortable, true to size and flattering.

Pro: The color is beautiful and the fit is nice. Con: The "twist" part of this top shows the inside of the seam (zoom out on the pic to see what I'm talking about). I've tried to twist it into the proper position, but it's not possible. The item has pilled badly after only 3 times wearing it (see pic).

Based on reviews, I purchased this as a XS even tho I am petite at 5’1, 120. The length is great for skinny jeans or leggings and the knot adds cute detailing. The color wasn’t my number 1 choice but was all that was left and is a very pretty blue. I’ll keep!!

I love this pullover. I bought the PM in grey. So cute. So Soft. Enhances your look to casually sophisticated if worn correctly. My only complaint is the sizing. The PM was NOT a relaxed fit for me. The knot fell above the waist and the sleeves were very snug. I am going to exchange for a regular medium and hope for better results. Petites may want to choose regular sizing.

The best tops I've ever purchased at Nordstrom. I have this top in soft blue and heather navy. When I was reading the reviews before buying I chuckled at the woman who said she wore it three times in a week. Now I know why. It is the softest, most comfortable top. I purchased the large and it is a bit roomy but looks good on me. I am 5'6" 158 lbs. but not busty. I would purchase more if there were more interesting colors offered.
