Wide shoes are available!!
I have hunted for wide size shoes for the past 6 months. Since the stores no longer carry wide size shoes, I was forced to search online. For hours (It seemed) i would locate a shoe I liked only to find that no wide sizes available. Finally I found the pair from a Nordstrom search.
