Not really useful as theft protection
I have two issues with this product:
1. It does not really protect your trailer against theft. In most cases you will use a quick release skewer with the hitch cup. Thus, even if you use the Lock Kit, you can simply open the quick release and remove the chariot without any tool from the bike.
2. You will not be able to put your chariot safely to the bike without locking the lock. That means you will always need to have the keys with you, even if go for a ride where you actually would not need the lock for theft protection.

Very bad product.
Finally got around to use the bike attachment. First time I tried unlocking it to use use the chariot on my wife's bike (bought a second ezhitch) and the key broke inside very easily. Had to disassemble the lock shockingly easy with taking out only 2 screws. Half the key is still stuck inside the lock . What a waste.
