Lambskin Leather Jacket

I recently purchased this jacket on line along with the midnight version thinking I would pick the one I liked best and return the other one. Bad mistake! I love both of them so much that they are both in my wardrobe. Typical Remy high quality, superb craftsmanship, and that amazing buttery soft feel. You simply have to try one of these jackets to appreciate them.

This was going to be my husband's birthday present, but it was returned. The leather was very supple and smelled yummy. This stitching was even and good quality. I liked the simplicity of the design - it's hard to find jackets without pockets, panels, and/or distractions. The fit was generous, especially in the arms. I would describe the fit as 'traditional', which my husband liked, but I thought it looked a little man-of-a-certain-age. The Coffee color is much darker than it appears in some pictures. At first I thought we'd received the darker color in error. It looked like milk chocolate in the pictures, but more like very dark chocolate in person. The lining is not described on the site, but the video refers to it as wool-feeling. I'd call it neoprene or a man made fibre. That probably helps make it lightweight and slip on easily, but it was a surprise to find. Overall, the jacket was nice enough, but I couldn't see what justified it versus one 1/3 the price.

Note this was sold by a 3rd party, Not Nordstrom! This made the return a total pain. Since I felt this was deceptive, I called Nordstrom customer service. They said that this was started just a few weeks ago and that Amazon also sold merchandise this way - as if this made it OK!?! I asked if they had other complaints and they said that there were many but people should get used to it… I will now ONLY BUY FROM NORDSTROM WHEN I’M IN NORDSTROM.
