Piper 2.0 Hooded Water Repellent Raincoat

I needed a late autumn/early winter raincoat for 40 degree rain and wind. I wanted it to be long, lightweight but substantial, easy to put over layers, functional, and high-quality. This one checks all the boxes! I agree that it's an oversized fit. I'm 5'7 with broad shoulders and long arms. I always wear a large in coats and jackets, but the medium has plenty of room for me to layer bulkier sweaters and hoodies underneath. I personally like the coat straight, but you can cinch it if you want some definition at the waist. I didn't realize it was packable with an attached bag that you can fold it up into, so that was a nice little bonus. It keeps me dry in nasty weather, and is roomy enough that I can wear cozy layers under it to stay warm. Super happy with it!

Bought this for a trip to Scotland and I am super impressed with quality and functionality. Everything adjusts and secures so no matter how windy you are protected. Very flattering fit, I am 5’5 and it hits slightly above the knee. Packs down small and feels very durable. A little roomie in the arms and body which I like as I want to be able to layer under it. Size down if you want a snug fit.

This is a quality raincoat that is lightweight, has a hood & folds into itself. I found it TTS for layering underneath but could probably size down one. The drawstring waist is flattering & lots of pockets, including an interior pocket. I plan to use this for travel since it compresses down so much & is lightweight. Great price during the anniversary. I am still trying to decide on the color I keep. The black is a nice true black & the olive is a nice, deep color. I would consider both a neutral. Great buy!
