Why parents will love it: With advanced safety features and easy installation, this rear-facing infant car seat monitors the well-being of your little one through the Bluetooth-enabled SensorSafe smart chest clip. It also features a 12-position, height-adjustable headrest that simultaneously changes the easy-in buckle pad harness length when you move it, making it simple to adjust after each of baby’s growth spurts.

Why kids will love it: The seat can be put into a full-recline position when it’s not in the car, so your little one can keep napping when you arrive at your destination. In-shell air ventilation helps keep your little one cool and comfortable with its natural airflow, while an included UPF50+ sun shade with breathable mesh side panels keeps the sun's harsh rays off baby.

Child weight/height: 4–30 lb.; up to 18 months. Infant insert that supports infants 4–11 lb. is included.

Worth every penny: secure install, easy on the back
Brought our newborn home in this seat and have been using it daily through 13 months of Austin commutes. The load leg base installs in under a minute and the indicator lights make it idiot-proof. SensorSafe caught my daughter wiggling out of her chest clip twice on long drives, which alone justified the upgrade. The deep recline lets her actually sleep instead of slumping forward. Heavier than a basic infant carrier once baby grows, but the rotating swivel makes lifting her out way easier on my back. The Mirage Grey fabric still looks new after a year of toddler messes. Only wish: a US market modular path to a toddler seat using the same base, since we now have to buy a new convertible from scratch.

Disappointed with Quality and Ease of Use
I really wanted to love this Cybex car seat because of all the great reviews and the sleek design, but my experience hasn’t been great. The seat feels over-engineered — adjusting the straps is a real hassle, and it’s tough to get a snug fit without a lot of pulling and frustration. The seat itself is quite heavy, which makes transferring it between cars difficult. The base installation was also confusing, and the instruction manual wasn’t very clear. To make matters worse, the canopy/roof came unsnapped almost instantly after we started using it, which was really disappointing for such an expensive seat. After a few weeks, the fabric started showing signs of wear, and for the price, I expected much better durability. On the plus side, it does feel sturdy and safe once installed, but overall, I found it more frustrating than convenient.

Perfect for our little one
I love this car seat so much for our little one! It’s built so nicely to where I feel like our baby is both secure and comfortable. The fabric that is used is so nice and soft. The installation for the car was easy and it’s also easy to take out of the base/carry around. I love the breathable sun cover, and also the addition of the air vents on the back. The Bluetooth aspect is so awesome to me, I love the app and how the sensors can alert you if there are unsafe situations. This is our third baby and I wish I would have had a car seat like this for our other two! I feel my baby is very safe in this car seat and it gives me an ease of mind when we are out venturing places as a family!

I’ve tried multiple car seats and this is the best
As a mom of three, I’ve used a lot of car seats, and this is one that truly stands out for me. The biggest feature I love is the SensorSafe Bluetooth chest clip—it connects to my phone and sends alerts if my baby unbuckles, if the car gets too hot or cold, or if my baby is still in the seat after I’ve walked away. It just adds an extra layer of peace of mind that I didn’t have with my other seats. I also really appreciate that it’s GREENGUARD Gold Certified, which was important to me when thinking about the materials my baby is around daily. The overall design feels very high quality, with added safety features like side-impact protection and a load leg base for extra stability. My baby seems super comfortable in it, and it’s been easy to use day-to-day. As a third-time mom, this is one I feel really confident choosing.

My experience with Cybex Cloud T
I’ve been really impressed with the Cybex Cloud T. You can immediately tell it’s a premium car seat, the materials feel high quality, it looks beautiful, and it feels incredibly secure with all the features. I chose the black color because it’s easier to keep clean, but they offer several different color options as well. My baby is about a month old, and one of my favorite features is the reclining function when attached to the stroller. I also like that the base clearly shows the correct incline positions for car use versus stroller use. Installation in the car was straightforward and much easier than I expected. I also really appreciate the SensorSafe clip for extra peace of mind, especially as a first-time parent. Overall, I would highly recommend the Cybex Cloud T to parents looking for an infant car seat with top-tier safety features, premium quality, and great stroller convenience.

Super safe and also beautiful!
I’m genuinely so impressed with the CYBEX Cloud T infant car seat. It’s been amazing for my baby girl. The near flat recline makes such a difference when we’re out running errands because she stays comfortable and naps so much better, and I love the breathable fabric since we’re always in the Miami heat. The SensorSafe clip gives me extra peace of mind with real time alerts, which is huge as a mom. Plus, the brown color is absolutely beautiful and feels so elevated, it doesn’t even look like a typical car seat.

Less Fuss, More Calm Rides!
I was given this product in exchange for my honest review. We’ve been using the Cloud T with my 4 month old (around 14 lbs) and honestly it’s been such a nice upgrade for us. He just looks more comfortable in it, there’s a little more room compared to others we’ve tried and he settles in so much easier during car rides. One thing I really love is the recline feature (for when the seat is out of the car). If he falls asleep, I can take him out and lay it back so he’s not all scrunched up. He stays asleep longer and just looks way more comfortable. As someone petite, it feels a little heavier to carry for longer periods but it’s still manageable. My husband thinks it’s lightweight, so I feel like it just depends on the person. The SensorSafe feature is also something I really appreciate. It just gives that extra peace of mind, especially when it’s just me and him in the car. Since switching, he’s been a lot less fussy during rides, which has made such a difference for us!
