- Wipe the candle with a damp cloth to maintain its appearance and keep it clean. Do not burn the candle for more than four hours at a time to ensure safety and longevity. Trim the wick to 1/8 inch before each use for optimal burning performance. To trim the wick, gently break off the burned edges with your fingertips and discard them. Always burn the candle long enough for the wax to melt to the edge of the glass for an even burn. After extinguishing the flame, allow the candle to cool to room temperature before relighting and trimming the wick. Keep the candle vessel upright at all times to prevent spills and ensure safe use.
