The DS2 Desktop Stands not only elevate your A5, HD4 , HD5, HD6 or similar-sized speakers, they'll elevate your listening experience. What a difference 15 degrees makes. It may not seem like much, but just 15 degrees of tilt—like you'll find with the DS2 Desktop Stands—can vastly improve the quality of sound. The stands also help isolate your speakers from your desktop surface, which helps prevent unwanted bass coupling. (Bass coupling is the rattling or buzz you hear when loud bass sounds are near loose objects.)
- The base of the mount is 5 inches x 7.75 inches, and can support speakers of these dimensions and larger such as the Audioengine A5+, HD4, HD6, P4, and HDP6. The DS2 Desktop Stands angle your speakers 15 degrees, aiming the speakers' tweeters right at your ears. This allows you to really hear the higher frequencies, which are very directional. Vibration destroys the clarity of a high quality set of speakers, these stands are specifically designed to drastically reduce vibration to give a noticeably clearer sound as well as an ear-level listening experience.
