Too long for petite ladies
I love most Zella pants but these had a weird fit at the waist, almost like maternity pants. Had to return them. I really do like the flare crop style. These were also ankle pants on me. I’m 5’2”.

Fit issues
I’m usually a small in zella pants. These run loose in the stomach and thigh area. The top 1/2 inch of waste elastic does not stretch enough to pull off and on easily. It makes for a complicated fit issue. It’s smaller than normal at the top and saggy in the stomach area. The fabric does not compress like other zella pants do. From the knee down these are good. The fabric is thin.

Instant comfort!
Wasn’t sure about the cut on the these, but once I put them on, I loved the feel. The fabric is soft and just amazing. I thought if this is how the new Zella items are going to feel, I’m ordering more! They are pretty snug on the thighs, almost running a little small, but I’d still say TTS. They are a unique fit, but even with my curves, they are a keeper. Wish they had more black ones in my size, I’d buy it. Definitely recommend!

Perfect, from the gym to the stores
These are fantastic. For me, the fit was close to the body above the knee (not tight, but close), with that little flare kicking out at mid-calf. The fabric is breathable and moves - in their first outing, I did a strength workout in them and then took the dog for a long walk.
I love how these are just a little looser than leggings and have the small flare (not big flare, just a little one) at the hem. It makes them appropriate for a wider variety of settings than just cropped leggings would be. They're the perfect run-around pants for warm weather.

different from old version
I have these from a few years ago and absolutely love them and fit perfectly so I was so excited to see them back in stock. The purple color is really pretty, but the fit of these new ones is def odd in the waist area, kind of big, and the material of the last few zella leggings including this one is thinner than it used to be. Old material was much better because it didn’t show any imperfections. I’m worried about these falling down at the waist in the future, but may still keep because it’s hard to find cropped flare leggings and these are a really pretty color.
