Barely Flare Live in High Waist Pants

They were cut too tight on the seat, closer to a leggings cut. I have 6 pairs of Zella exercise pants purchased 15 years ago that were PERFECT. Then leggings came and active, fit but older women like me who want a looser fit around the seat became out of luck. I am 60+ and wish Zella would bring back pants that are a little more modest around the seat but have a sleek straight NOT BAGGY leg cut.

I have many Zella pants of various styles, some of which are a decade old or more, and the newest high-waist styles are wonderful. I usually have a hard time with higher waisted clothing gapping or riding down because the waistline isn't nipped in, but these fit very nicely and really work to create a smooth and flattering silhouette. The fabric is nice, too. I would say it might be a bit more substantial than my Zella tights but it has a good amount of stretch to it. Sizing seems to be standard to perhaps a little big. I sized down because my usual size was out of stock and the fit is perfect. I would love to see this pant offered in more colors.

Super comfortable, VERY high rise. It goes above my belly button. I am 5'6" and I didn't think they were outrageously long like some of the other reviews have said. I actually like any sort of flared pants to be a bit longer otherwise they look awkward. They barely touch the floor and I think the length is perfect especially if you're planning on wearing tennis shoes with them. The material is great and they are flattering. The only thing I HATE is that they do show a little camel toe. If they didn't they would be absolutely perfect. I'll likely be a bit self conscious in public so saving these for lounging around home and working out at home. I am 138lb, 28 waist, 39 hips and the 8 fits me well.

I'm a not-quite-svelte-anymore, 5'9", long-waisted, middle-aged lady with a 33-34" inseam, I ordered a 12 which is my normal size (unless I can get Tall, in which case I'm usually a 10). These pants are my unicorn. They're long enough for one thing--I know the short ladies are whining, but please don't change this. Srsly. They get all the pants. It's okay for the tall ladies have pants once in a while, too. I promise you the world will not end. They are super comfortable and sooooo very flattering. I get compliments every time I wear them. Tall, not-so-svelte ladies, take the leap! You won't regret it.
