Y Iced Eau de Toilette Intense

Lasts around 6-8 hours for me which is pretty great. Feels like a cooler twist from the original DNA. The bottle looks similar to other Y colognes but the atomizer is great!

Too many flankers in too short a time, all sharing the same recognizable DNA without much to distinguish them individually. This one caught me off guard. Where the EDP leans into fruity sweetness, the Iced Cologne strips that away entirely and goes somewhere else: clean cold, herbal clarity and real presence. The mint here isn’t gum or mouthwash - it’s closer to a freshly cut plant or a well-brewed Moroccan tea. Máster perfumer Dominique Ropion is behind this, and you can tell there’s actual intention in the composition. What impressed me most was the longevity. The base of ambroxan and Indonesian patchouli anchors the trail, and that woody foundation keeps the freshness from vanishing within the hour. For a “cool” fragrance - a category notorious for disappearing fast - it holds up. Ok a warm day or a long shift, that matters. Is it essential if you already own other Y releases? Honestly, that depends on which ones. But if you want something that breaks away from the line’s sweeter profile and actually lasts, this is the one I’d point you to.

My initial impression was an immediate "Wow," and after a month of daily use, that factor hasn't worn off. One thing I noticed during my testing was how much control you have over the intensity 1 Spray: Keeps the scent confined to your personal space. 2–3 Sprays: Makes the fragrance much stronger and more noticeable to those around you. ​Most days, I found my "sweet spot" was between 1 and 2 sprays, depending on my mood or where I was headed. ​ ​The ultimate test is whether my wife notices. I typically use Dolce and Gabbana, but gave this a go as it was no loss if I didn’t like it but was pleasantly surprised. This has an extremely fresh scent to it, and it last a long while. I did about 2 sprays on my shirt and it definitely lasted a few hours. The scent is subtle which is nice cause you can wear it any time. The design of the bottle and even the box is very nice, you can tell they put time and effort into it. All in all very pleased with it.
