Waterproof Down Field Jacket

I have two other Norwegian Wool coats, and all of them are spectacular. The other two are heavier (the Eurocoat and the car coat) and much more insulated. This one is lighter and, while still down lined, it isn't as thick. That is exactly what this jacket is supposed to be-- it's still quite warm, but for days that aren't bone chilling cold. At 35 degrees it feels cozy, not burning. At 50 degrees it's just starting to be a little too warm if you're walking or doing any kind of physical activity. It is super lightweight, comfortable and gorgeous. I am 5'10'' 155 pounds (38R is my usual size) and a small fits very comfortably. I could have gotten away with an extra small if I really wanted it to be form fitting, but went with the small. A medium would be way too big. My other two NW jackets are also smalls, but they are designed to fit over a blazer or suit jacket so they are a bit roomy. Extremely happy with this!
