Walker Single Breasted Wool Blend Coat

Other reviewers said it ran small so I ordered a size up. That worked out perfectly. It is a quiet tasteful coat, and I am very pleased. I had to make the sleeves shorter, and ended up removing the button and button hole on the sleeve which I even like more. The sleeve buttons matched the buttons which are under a flap and not seem anyway so o thought it wasn’t a loss at all.

The coat is classic, and is just as pictured. I'd say it's true to size but is a trim fit - no wearing bulky sweaters under it. An important reason I ordered this wool blend coat, and not another, had everything to do with the fact that the fiber content. Most of the wool blends in this price range were mostly poly and only the tiniest bit of wool. This coat is 60% wool, 35% poly, 5% other - similar to coats in a higher price range. I ordered the taupe color and it's beautiful. Deducted a star because it needed a good steam to get a couple of big creases out of it - not unusual these days but still annoying.
