Have had this for almost a year now. I just wear it casually or while dog walking. Very stylish and great fit. Excellent build quality and reasonably priced for the product.

Always something not quite right
I bought this jacket as a windproof smock, and knew that was what I would get with a G1000 fjallraven. I didn't buy it as a waterproof, as G1000 is not waterproof. Its all that I had hoped for, but I can't supress a little disappointment due to a couple of things. I think the storm flap over the chest zip needs another popper further down and in addition to the two higher up. Either that or have the storm flap under the zip. As it is with a side wind from your right hand side the wind lifts the flap. The other thing is the kangaroo pocket, it should be zipped, for complete confidence and security. Pulling off the jacket with anything in it with just a popper could mean things fall out.
We buy and spend a lot of money on these jackets from outdoor specialists who claim to make the best clothing in the world, and maybe they do, but I sometimes think, have these things actually been tested in the field, and if so, why on earth didn't they see the need for and think of this or that. I want to love tis jacket and perhaps over time I will, but at the moment I feel a little disappointed.
One other small thing, I hate the large bright yellow blue and white label. Whenever I look down, which is a lot to see where I'm putting my feet, all I see and all that catches my eye is that label. I will be removing it.
I usually buy a large in jackets, even though I am a medium size wise, but medium in fjallraven jackets is plenty big enough to allow layering, and the sleeve length is excellent as there is nothing worse than too short sleeves.

Versatile outer shell
I bought this to be used as an outer shell for winter cycling. I was looking for something roomy for layering. So far, it holds up. I wear it on top of a thin insulated jacket, with a marino wool base-layer underneath, and there is still room for more. I bought the XS, and it fits more like a M-L. Very relaxed fit, especially in the waist area. 5'11, thin build.
Took it on a handful of rides that included bouts of light to heavy rain, hail and some light snow. The coating kept me dry. Easy to clean the mud off with a hose.

What you would expect from Fjallraven's G-1000
I got this anorak as a present last year and I love it.
You may hear or read comments from different people saying that it doesn't work as a raincoat and they are absolutely right, but neither does a dress shoe work as a running shoe.
The G-1000 fabric works perfectly under heavy duty conditions, you wont need to repair this coat anytime soon and when the first hole appears you'll be counting the years you've had it with both hands.
Apply Greenland wax (properly) if you want some resistance to light rain and windy days but don't expect it to perform as a rubber raincoat because it's not made out of rubber nor is it a raincoat.
Absolutely recommend this product.

Great with one exception
Very nice except it’s missing a zipper on the kangaroo pocket which is kind of dumb since you by nature put an anorak upside down twice every time you wear it.
