One of the best shoes I've ever purchased.
I love these shoes!!
I have a pair of the classic checkerboard vans and I love them so much. My sister used to work for vans and so when I asked her which pair I should get next, she recommended the Old Skools. When I saw they had them in a platform I was like "YES" and I bought them right away. I love them so much. She taught me how to lace them up like the cool kids and they're so comfortable.
I added a picture of them brand new compared to my checkerboard slip ons. So crisp compared to my well loved ones. :)

These kicks will spice up your street style!
There is not denying how cute these shoes are and with a heavy heart, I will be returning. The back lip of the shoe, not really visible in this picture, sits a little high and rubbed against the back of my ankle. I spend most of the day in my office and walked to and from the bus stop, about a mile total, and the back of my ankle has blisters. So disappointing.

Misleading platform, but still cute
I own many pairs of vans but this is my first pair buying “platform” . I bought size 7.5 in the black and these are NOT 1.25” platform like the description says, it’s 1.1” (1 1/8”) and although cute , I already own a pair and don’t think this is different/platform enough for me to keep.

College Aged Girl Reviewed
The shoe is so cute in person, very casual and fits like a converse. The only down side is that after about five hours or so, your feet will start to hurt. Not sure if this is due to lack of them being broken in, or if its just because they're so flat and have no arch support.

Great shoes
These are seriously amazing.... even for a super picky shoe buyer that usually only buys $200 shoes!!! I love Vans and normally wear them even though they don't have the greatest support for someone in their 40s who has developed some mild foot issues... but these are beyond comfortable and supportive. I am so glad I found them before they were completely sold out!! Highly recommend. Oh, and did I mention? They are soooo cute on! :-D

Cute
These are really comfortable and cute but they run pretty big. I'm a 7.5 and they slip off my feet, definitely go .5 - 1 size down.
