It has deeper, heavier vibes rather than sweet and soft vanilla. The quality is there, but the scent doesn’t match my personal style. If you prefer more unisex or slightly masculine fragrances, you might enjoy it, but for me it’s not.

The initial spray is surprisingly bright, thanks to a touch of citrus, which quickly melts into a rich heart of vanilla and praline. As it evolves, the sweetness is tempered by an earthy, woody base that gives the perfume a grounded, unisex appeal. It is a masterclass in how to use gourmand notes to create a mood of modern mystery rather than just a simple candy-like aroma.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Vanilla Haze extrait is one of those fragrances that doesn't fully reveal itself in the opening, for me the first spray leans sharper than expected, saffron, clove and a slightly dry spiced edge cut through a hazelnut + coconut creaminess . The saffron in particular introduces a smokey nuance that's detectable until the 8th hour, adding depth but also contributing to that initial edge. It's interesting, but far from the main event. The real payoff comes in the drydown, where it settles into a warm, caramelized vanilla&tonka base that feels far more cohesive and addictive, this is where the fragrance blooms into itself. What stands out most is the quality of the vanilla, it's not airy or cosmetic, but deep, rich, slightly boozy and creamy, far closer to a real bourbon vanilla accord than anything synthetic, here it reminds of the vanilla present in Vanilla Diorama; there's a richness here that leans gourmand without ever feeling cheap or syrupy. The lingering spice keeps it from ever falling flat making the composition feel layered and intentional. Longevity is astounding, truly eternal on my skin, it doesn't just remain for 8-12 hours, it remains present and evolving for over a day. Projection is strong and consistent for around 12 hours, after this it gradually settles into a skin hugging intimate aura maintaining presence without ever feeling overpowering. What makes it particularly compelling is how it behaves deep into the wear, even as it softens to a skin scent, it doesn't disappear - it refines. The addictive vanilla core stays in tact but becomes quieter, more personal. Around the 20th hour what remains is a delicate vanilla skin scent threaded with a touch of akigalawood, adding a gentle woody spiced texture that keeps it from feeling flat or overly sweet. At this price point you're getting a high concentration vanilla with a clear identity, for me the opening isn't where it shines, if you're someone who appreciates depth, warmth and a fragrance that evolves from day, night (and beyond)
