Rockstud Slide Sandal (Women)

I purchased these sandals as a gift. Unfortunately the size was an issue for her, so she had to exchange it for a different size. When she got to the Nordstrom store, she was told they were FAKE. Nordstrom sent FAKE Valentino sandals, and apparently this happens often. When items are shipped from the warehouse, nothing arrives in the box or it’s replaced with a fake item. This is ridiculous. Either buy from the store or order from a different store, because this is just utterly ridiculous.

I hesitated to give two stars, but did so because the shoes were so beautiful! I was so excited when I got my shoes because they were so beautiful! I had originally ordered a size up based on the reviews, but exchanged them for the size I usually wear and they fit true to size. In the photo that I attached, you will see the bottom of the shoe after one wear to a retirement party in a restaurant. The only time I was outside was when I walked from my car to the restaurant and back for the amount of money I paid for these sandals, the bottom of the shoe should not have peeled the way that it looks in the picture, after reading more of the reviews about fake Valentinos, I’m wondering if these were also fake. I will say that Nordstrom‘s customer service was stellar and they took the sandals back and we’re willing to exchange them at the sale price. However, my size was no longer available. I am now hesitant to re-purchase at the full price, in fear that the same thing will happen again. I think about the sandals often because they were so beautiful but I’m not willing to pay that much to go through this disappointing experience again.

Nordstrom sent me fake sandals. I love the Valentino sandals own 2 pairs. Ordered a replacement pair and was sent fake sandals. Returned them and called customer service to report this. Ordered another pair and same thing happened. I want these sandals but do not trust Nordstrom to get these designer sandals. So so disappointing.
