Vala Pointed Toe Pump (Women)

I own so many pairs of Steve Madden pumps, they’re always my favorite for work because they hold up and are comfortable. I have a lot of the daisy pumps (I think that’s the style they’re a 4” in heel) and when I saw the Vala’s I got the black patent and red patent. I am always a 9.5 or a 10 in my Steve Madden close toe pumps. Usually a 10 for patent leather and 9.5 for softer materials. I ordered the Vala’s in a 10 and they run much smaller and tighter than any other Steve maddens I’ve owned. The toe box comes up higher than other cuts (meaning less toe cleavage) and the overall fit is so much tighter. I have a standard width foot that goes more towards the narrow side than wide. I love the look of these, they’re so gorgeous but I will have to return them. I’m not sure if I can order a 10.5 and get away with it because of how narrow and tight they were not just small. I’d recommend if you wear a lot of Steve Madden heels that you order these in a larger size than you would others. My Christian Louboutin Pigalle Follies aren’t as tight and narrow fitting as these and that’s saying something if you know that style lol. Even if I shoved my foot in these and forced it throughout the day I cannot see them breaking in to ever be work day comfortable.

I purchased the Vala in two colors, the red and the caramel. Both absolutely gorgeous shoes. I waited for these shoes to come in and was ecstatic to get both colors. I dont wear them often. The red pair still look gorgeous. The caramel on the other hand...I've only wore them about 3-4 times, took them out to wear the other day and patent leather on the heel has split open at the seam and is peeling wide open. I'M SO DISAPPOINTED!

I have this shoe in two other shades camel and brown both in a size 8, which fits perfect. I wanted to add tan to my collection but there was only a size 7.5 available. Even though I read the reviews and saw that this shoe ran small I ordered it anyways. I figured a half size different wouldn’t make that big of a difference. I was so disappointed when I got them and tried them on. They were too tight so unfortunately I will be returning.
