Kenova Loafer (Women)

This is a beautiful loafer. Well made. My big gripe is that there are no half sizes. I am typically a 7.5, so I bought an 8 and a 7. I ended up keeping the 7. The 8 was WAY to big. The 7 is a little tight, but with a stocking or a no-show, it fits fine. I am hoping for a little stretch in the leather with wear. I knocked off the star because of the sizing issue.

I normally wear size 7 in sneakers and boots and got these in size 7. They fit me well with medium thickness socks on and are springy and comfy. They look good with skinnies or crop slacks. I could probably go half size down but they don't come in half sizes. I have very wide feet and find these shoes to be comfortable for my width.

I love these shoes - they were exactly what I was looking for. BUT. They run big. I've worn the 37 (size 7) twice, and walking briskly across campus, they do not work. I am hoping to be able to exchange for a smaller size. Otherwise I'll get an insert of some kind, I hope. I normally wear a 7 medium, and that fits just about every time. These are so big - I'm frustrated with myself for not noticing sooner (the first time, I wore them for only about 30 minutes, and I guess I was excited enough about the look that I wasn't paying adequate attention to the fit...)
