Bailey Short Boot (Women)

I live in SoCal but UGG is my go to for the cold months. This is my four UGG. I have always purchased different styles of classic. Last year I bought similar style, Abrie? but have to return because apparently I have to size up for that. When I saw this in red I bought right away, size up too. I didn’t read that for this style between sizes, size down. I think it’s workable. I don’t actually need the zippers to get in n out but the zippers added flares to a normal UGG styles. However, tiny discomfort at the base of the zippers (soles of the foot end) due to the zippers connection. If you wear w socks (which I don’t think many of us do with UGG), then it’s ok. Bare foot you will feel that zippers end. At first I thought it was the tags but the tags are at the ankles area. If this doesn’t bother you, it’s very cute and different to add to your collections. For me, I still have not worn them yet.... thanks to Nordstrom great return policy, I am still thinking LOL!

First time ordering Uggs. This is #4... I’ve since found success with the 5th pair (Bailey short with bows). I’m 5’11, size 11 shoe. From my research it appears sizing true to size or smaller is the way to go since they’ll stretch. I wanted a stylish Ugg that didn’t say I’m trying too hard to look 20! I’ve wanted a pair of Uggs for 10 years, but kept doubting if I really needed them. But come on women... Need vs Want? Want usually wins! The warmth, comfort and soft interior is what I was attracted to. This new style with the zipper is great, but the size was too big. I went up a whole size, and they are too loose. If these were the right size and had a silver-toned or bronze zipper (the gold for me was too shiny) then they would have been perfect! I think black Uggs with black leggings or jeans, paired with a puffer jacket or cozy sweater is a bit classier around town. Brown/tan Uggs have a more laid-back country look to them.
