Adirondack Meridian Waterproof Hiking Boot (Women)

I bought these boots to wear to Iceland. These boots kept my feet extremely comfortable, warm, and dry. In particular, I wore these boots hiking an ice cave, with crampons hiking a glacier, walking around the black sand beach, hiking tons of waterfalls, and just walking around the city during the beginning of April. I was hesitant about the price, so I did not purchase them at first. However, these ended up being one of my favorite purchases and well worth the money.

The reef blue colorway is gorgeous, but this situation put me off with the practicality of keeping them clean. They’re very comfortable, warm, and surprisingly light. I typically wear a size 7.5/8. My feet are 9.5” in length. I ordered these in a size 7 and they are snug, but doable (without thick socks). If i ever purchase these again, i’d go with 7.5. The boot itself has potential, but i’d only consider purchasing again if discounted. The quality just isn’t there for this price range. I also received what appeared to be a used boot, similar to the review below mine. There was hair, fuzz, and lint throughout the “UGG plush” lining, which was already beginning to clump the way it does after being worn a few times. There was an overall tinge of dirt, minor black marks and grime on the rubber sole, and inconsistencies that suggest prior use/handling. The way they were carelessly packaged confirms that suspicion. At this price point, this is unacceptable. This experience has really made me question the trust i’ve always had in Nordstrom and my confidence in ordering from them moving forward.
