Pencil Sharpener

I love this high quality sharpener. It sharpens both fat and thin pencils well. The size of the holes are made to work well with Trish's pencils, though it works fine on my other pencils as well (Estee Lauder, MAC, etc.). It stays sharp and the container keeps the pencil shavings contained until you dump them in the trash.

I bought this sharpener because the old ones I had from the drug store were wrecking a new expensive pencil eyeliner I needed to sharpen. The Trish McAvoy sharpener got the pricey pencil sharpened perfectly without breaking the color point or splintering the wood. This sharpener has better design and proportions for blade, opening diameter, length & slope so the pencil comes in contact with the blade at a better angle and the tip doesn't get crushed at the end of the channel. Just overall a better quality product than my old ones so definitely worth the extra cost for a better performing tool.

Like many, I've purchased hundreds of sharpeners over the years. Some have been good - some were simply terrible. This sharpener exceeded my expectations. It sharpens my MAC pencils, NARS pencils, Benefit jumbo High Brow Pencil, and countless others like a champ. No clumping, over sharpening, pencil Knicks...nada. It's the best and I HIGHLY recommend it.

This sharpener has sharpened all eye & lip pencils cleanly with out wasting any product. Amazingly,this is the ONLY chubby lip/eye pencil sharpener that actually handles larger pencils. It accommodates the largest pencils and doesn't chew them up as the sharpener is of high quality. To me, the best part is the casing that collects shavings to be tossed away later. No more wood shavings or soft pencil marks to try to scrub off later!
