Lulu Elastic Back Trousers

I'm on the fence on how I feel about these. I purchased my usual topshop size 6, my regular size in other brands is a size 4 but I prefer to size up with Topshop trousers and then have the waist taken in. I found out after placing my order that these trousers have a stretch waistband on the back, I've not worn pants like that in my adult life, so we'll see about these. The pants also balloon, they are not straight legged, almost like old school levi's cowboy jeans, it's not very noticeable but definitely not as pictured on the model, I was expecting these to have a cropped look on me but not the case. For reference I am 5'6 and 135 pounds, they are long for me, my usual inseam is a 32 for ankle length and these hit a bit below my ankle so something is off. I can imagine wearing these casually, for lounging around in, not for the office as I had originally intended. Great colors though, bought both the blue and wine options.

Not bad but not good. Kinda felt and looked like a potato sack.

These are ADORABLE but HUGE! I normally wear a 4 bottom, so I order a “6 (fits like 2-4).” Sooo not the case! Bought a 4 and love them!

Like with all wide/over size style topshop items I ordered a size down. 5’8 155lbs and I got the 6. They fit great. Beware not easy to wear a belt with these because they do not have a loop in the back.

I got the blue and it is a pretty color which goes with all shirt colors. However, the pants run extremely long. I'm 5'3" and I need to wear a 4in heels so the hem wouldn't touch the floor. The pants also balloon, not straight legged, so it's quite hard to pull the look. I'm still debating if i want to keep the pants or not. The color is so pretty but the fit is just not right.

Love these pants. They do run big and I exchanged them for a smaller size.
