Killer Liner 36-Hour Waterproof Gel Eyeliner

This is a decent eyeliner that stays put. However, like previous reviewers stated, (I should’ve listened), once you need sharpening, it’s a nightmare. The plastic “pencil” is difficult to sharpen and leave sharps points if you don’t sharpen far enough down to expose the liner. But 1/2 the liner goes out with the shavings if you try to sharpen further. Disappointing.

The killer line 36 hr waterproof gel liner was a disappointment. I purchased the black. I used to use Marc Jacob gel eyeliner but since I needed a replacement thought I would try this. Not good. Put on at 7 am, it is 8 pm. I am in field sales so I am out and about all day and in offices. I used: glitter glue too faced primer. Eye shadow, a tiny bit of Laura mercier eye powder, the eye liner, and then a lot of Laura mercier eye powder below my eyes. I follow with dermablend powder and urban decay setting spray. This liner is not good. It writes nicely, no tug, but not great staying power. My mascara doesn’t move, but due to creases and deep set hooded eyes, I have to have an eyeliner that won’t budge. If i squint at all, my skin touched the liner I guess. So for stay power? Even if you prime, set w powder and seal with setting spray? This is not it. I can not imagine had I been in water So not smudge proof. I am hoping to find something I love as much as my discontinued Marc jacobs gel pencil liners. I will keep trying with more powder to help lock the liner in place but it could not make 13 hours so not 36. Maybe when it’s cooler than 70 or 80 degree weather it would do better. It has been humid I guess.

Great eyeliner, impossible to sharpen! I took the first one back believing it had a defect bc I could not sharpen it, so I got a new one. The new one has the exact same issue- I cannot sharpen it without it breaking off into pieces. I’ve tried several sharpeners and know how to sharpen eyeliner, so it’s definitely this eyeliner. You can use it until it’s time to sharpen it. Waste of money.
