Two Palms Linen Shirtdress

It said it was "true to size", and a Medium was to fit 8-10. I usually wear medium or a 12, so the first time I ordered it in a large (12-14) and it was HUGE, with gigantic armholes that reached halfway to my waist. So I reordered in a medium and it fit fine, but was very wrinkly (typical of linen) and extremely hard to get those wrinkles out even with the hottest iron. It looked okay, but had no pizazz, didn't make me want to keep it so it will soon be on its way back. This style is probably best in those thin women with little chest.

Looked and looked for a spring dress for my mom and this was great with her little white linen jacket. Color is lovely, quality is good and longer length is nice. Can be dressed up or down. And linen is just more elegant than the linen blends. Been hard to find something more classic but still fun for spring. Ready for all the florals and ruffles go away!!!

This dress is one of those must-have summer basics that can be impossible to find. I'm 5'9", 145 lbs, small on top with a curvy bottom half. It's not easy to find dresses that fit, but this one is a winner. Mid-weight linen (unlined) but didn't seem see-through, armholes that fit comfortably without gaping, length just below my knee and the versatility to belt or not. The dress skims the body nicely without pulling across the hip. I was concerned the style might look a little frumpy but it really does not. The Mountain Bluebell color is very pretty and would look good on many skintones. I'm very happy with my new dress.
