Holy Grail #2
I am a true lipstick junkie and have bought and tried all the high end brands over the years, looking for my Holy Grail lipstick. I found it with Nars Audacious Lipstick as I love the long wear and super saturated colors that just "pop". When I saw Tom Ford released these new Matte Lipsticks I bought three: Plum Lush, Ruby Rush and Velvet Cherry, as I love Tom Ford beauty products. These lipsticks are the Holy Grail #2!!! I would say they are extremely similar to Nars Audacious Lipstick in matte texture and deep color saturation. Plum Lush is really less plum and more pink, like a dark dusty rose. Velvet Cherry is very similar to Nars Jeanne, perhaps a little less dark and intense in color. And Ruby Rush is a gorgeous red leaning slightly ever so warm. They are all stunning lip shades if bold lips are what you like. Couldn't recommend more highly!

Very drying
I was hoping this would be a lipstick that stays on and doesn't dry your lips. It did not work for me. My lips were so dry after trying this that they felt burned.
It stays on but only on the edges of your lips.
I'm disappointed so I am sending this back.

Tom Ford Makeup: My new love
I started with the Stick Foundation... love it.
Then the Lipstick... very good with real staying power. (Had to order another color because I purchased it online and it was wrong for me). Haven't received the new one yet.
Then the Blush... excellent.
Then the Blush Brush... great and better than all my others brushes.
Then the illuminating Primer... very nice with the stick foundation.
Next? Take out a second on my house to pay for it all.

Worth Every Penny
I was skeptical about spending $50 on a lipstick, but I kept seeing beauty blogs review Tom Ford Lip Color Matte in Pussycat. Pussycat was described as being very unique and without a dupe so I gave in and spent the money on this gorgeous color. The color is even more amazing in person (definitely a win), but the formulation is unbelievable! It is the opposite of drying! I have never worn a lipstick formulation that is so moisturizing, sits well on my lips even when they are chapped (despite the fact that it is a matte formulation), is so comfortable to wear, and is super long lasting! I definitely recommend this product, and I will eventually get more colors (I am that impressed).

Rich beautiful color... Black Dahlia
I got this color after eyeing it for a while. It is a rich matte wine color... creamy in texture and very smooth. The packaging was very good.

Tom Ford wuhoo
I love just about everything Tom Ford and this lipstick did not disappoint. I bought black dahlia and it looks great with my skin tone. I was hesitant with the price point, but decided to take the plunge. It has become one of my fav lipsticks, it is creamy and doesn't dry out my lips like other matte ones tend to do. Go for it, go to Nordstrom's and buy any and everything Tom Ford!

Not worth $50.00
Beautiful color, moisturizes lips however, not that much better than a much lower cost Merle Norman lipstick. Not as long lasting as I had expected for $50.00.
