Fun jean with side detail is very unique
I love these jeans. Disagree with other review that they run small. I normally go up from a 29 to a 30 in Mother Superior denim but I was fine in a 29 with these. I love the darker inset on the sides, it elongates the legs! Cinches my waist and wide leg at the bottom is flattering. I've already styled these with different looks, fun and versatile. Little to no stretch and holds its shape.

Not as cute as pictured
I don’t often spend this much on a pair of jeans, but I do love mother denim. I was really excited about these jeans, but in person they do not have what looks like a slight bell bottom in the photo, they are more of a straight leg and it was just a very boxy look and not flattering on me at all. Also, the stripes on the side are not as dark blue as shown on the website, especially on one of the sides. I know jeans can vary a little but these did not live up to what I hope they would be and for $360 You need to love these on you. As for the size I am usually a 26-27 and I found the 27 fit fine so I did not need to size up but sadly I have to return. I’m sure I’ll see more of mother denim in the future that I love.

I couldn’t get these over my hips granted I have wider hips and athletic figure. These would look best on a straighter figure. The denim I found to be rigid and not even sure if it would break in a whole lot. Cute piece though.

I bought two sizes to try- my normal in mother and one up, both too small in the waist, normal size I couldn’t button at all. I’d prob try 2 sizes up but no longer available :(
