Pure luxury - but beware sensitive skin!
Beautiful from the start - I used to be a big fan of La Mer and AB seems to be the new La Mer. Anyway - upon receiving I thought the bag it came in was of good quality, alternative style and sturdy although not firm. Nice details to the packaging. Each item was nicely wrapped in AB signature tissue paper and it felt like a real treat to open each little package within the kit. The cleanser is so gentle but very effective- probably one of my favourites from this set. The packaging of every product (glass, with the signature deep blue and copper details makes for a luxury experience and suits any dresser) the essence is powerful! So take care - I used every product of the kit on first use and my face became rather warm and flushed so I would not recommend using the essence and or the oil on first time if you’re new to AB or if you’re like me and have sensitive combination skin.
The oil (and all of the rest of the products tbh) are of very generous sizes given the price of regular size
The oil doesn’t feel like a regular oil, it sinks in very quickly and doesn’t “sit on the skin” - then the cream was actually very light compared to what I imagined… even though I have combo skin, I would consider the rich cream for winter.
After one use , even the adverse first reaction (which settled down after an hour) still left my skin looking like I’d used one of their masks/like I’d had a facial. Glowing, toned and refreshed even just after two applications! I skipped the toner essence on second try and I didn’t get the same adverse effects as the first so don’t go full force and use everything if you have sensitive skin… I would recommend taking the toner essence out first and only using it intermittently with the oil (swapping one for one) a few days a week to prep skin
I usually use and get on well with MEDIK8, Fresh beauty and Sisley Paris, La Mer

Nice set
I have combination oily skin that tend to be dehydrated and is acne prone. I was excited to get this set, however to my mind this is not a full routine for my face. Essence is a nice first layer after cleansing but I need a serum. Thankfully I had AB the serum that was perfect for this oil. Really love the result overall. No pimples so oil wasn’t too overwhelming.

Grreat
Augustinus Bader’s The Cream is truly a luxurious skincare product. The formula is rich, and after applying it, my skin feels hydrated and nourished throughout the day. I noticed smoother, firmer skin after several weeks of use. It’s a bit pricey, but the results are worth it for anyone serious about skincare. This is now a permanent fixture in my beauty regimen.

Amazing!
I bought the travel set because I was going on a trip however I have not used this group of products collectively. After a couple of days, I just noticed a beautiful glow about my skin and a silky to the feel. I was absolutely blown away! I am planning to buy a full size in each of the items in this travel kit when I get home. Amazing!

Lovely especially during the summer months
What’s not to like about these luxury skincare products apart from the price tag! I’m already a fan of the Augustinus Bader rich cream, which I received in a Christmas Advent Beauty Calendar, but struggle to warrant paying the full price. I purchased the duo when it was discounted and i had some NDuldge points to redeem. The Cream, like the Rich Cream is a joy to use and leaves my skin well hydrated and a glow. Its great for day use especially during the summer months . Although the 15ml did last a considerable time it wasn't long enough.
