Outstanding Soothing Balm
I love the La Mer line, and am a huge fan of their body cream and lotion so was excited to try this new product. So glad I did. It’s absolutely wonderful. So emollient and soothing. I love slathering it on after a shower and following up with a spa robe, to let the balm soak into my skin. Because of the oil content I would not recommend applying it immediately before putting on your OOTD, but for an overnight treatment balm this is the best I’ve tried. If you have any skin conditions, as I do, you will love how this calms and soothes the skin. Now La Mer needs to offer a body exfoliating product. A good body scrub or exfoliating treatment would be perfect just prior to application of the Renewal Body Oil Balm. Very highly recommend.

Received it a few days ago, opened today. It is 52F degree outside, and around 65F indoor. It is 100% liquid. Light squeeze, and it splashed everywhere, impossible to use.

Luxurious body balm
This body oil balm is soooooo amazing!! It transforms my skin immediately on application. I have somewhat dry skin and this balm works extremely well in moisturizing it. You only need a very small amount and it goes a long way so the tube should last a while. It leaves a slight glowy sheen on your skin that lasts long.

Consistency of a runny petroleum jelly.
I have extremely dry skin, live in a harsh desert climate, with very dry water, so a good oil based lotion is a must for me. I usually mix a little renewal oil with my La mer body cream, and this gives me a similar result all in one. I deducted a star because as usual I hate the packaging. The first few times I used it, I dispensed way too much on accident, and it came squirting our all over. Use a very tiny bit of pressure when squeezing or you’ll get too much and it will go everywhere. Otherwise, I think this will be a staple for me.

Wonderful!!!
This is truly wonderful! When you first squeeze it out it’s like a jelly (like Vaseline) so it’s easy to control, but as soon as you rub your hands together it turns into the most luxurious oil that just soaks right in to you skin. And a lovely scent. I love La Mer body cream as well, but this balm is truly something special. I can’t say enough good things about it. Definitely worth it!

A Quality Oil
I pretty much cover my entire body with this lovely oil at least once a week in the winter, when my skin is the driest. I do use it more often on the backs of my hands, though. I would think this is for people with very dry skin, like me. It has made a big improvement in my skin. I would use it three or four times a week if it were not so crazy expensive. I just got tired of wasting money on bottle after bottle of less quality oils that smelled terrible and didn't help my skin at all. I love it.
