The arrival of cherry blossoms marks the beginning of spring and a time of rebirth. This gentle yet striking flower symbolizes growth and positive change. Centered with a garnet stone and hand-painted ivory and brown stamens, a combination of delicate pale pink silk cross-dyed dupioni, blush silk organza, and cranberry silk chiffon petals are backed with a burgundy silk charmeuse spray. The cherry blossom is the birth flower for the month of March and is the national flower of Japan.
