These should not be called swim shorts
These should not be called swim shorts, they should be called bikini bottom covers or something similar. I was not aware they needed a bikini bottom and there is absolutely no gusset. Everything is on display. Unfortunately I didn't notice until I had already washed them. I'll never be wearing these. I don't want all the bulk of wearing these tight shorts over a bikini bottom.

Swimming comfort!
These are my second pair of swim shorts and I love the fit. Decided to get a more colorful pair this time. Most of my swimming is in a pool and I thought I cared for my first pair properly but they had to be replaced after a year of wear. Only reason I didn’t choose 5 stars.

I LOVE these swim shorts from Calypsa. They offer a good amount of coverage without being frumpy. For reference, I’m 5’2 and about 98 pounds, and I bought a size xs.
My first Calypsa purchase was several years ago when I bought these swim shorts in black. They held up well for a long time - maybe five years - but the elastic in the waist band started disintegrating last summer, so it was time for a replacement. As long as the company carries this still, I’ll remain a loyal shopper. These are my absolute favorite swim bottoms! But Calypsa, PLEASE carry some trendier colors and prints!
