These are very stretchy, like a yoga pant, but have very nice structure with the front seam and slight flare at the bottom - they look like trousers. 5’5’’ and they were ankle length on me in size large. They will be a nice work pant on chilly days and great for travel.

Weird Fit Disappointment
These pants looked so cute to me, but were a disappointment. Firstly, they are NOT cropped; they are longer. Secondly, they are too high waisted so they don't sit at the waist. And then they are tight but weirdly bigger in the hips. Just an unusual fit.

Not for the Arctic!
I have several pairs of Sweaty Betty pants besides leggings and I always wear an XXS in them.First of all, these are very thin and I am confused by the name Arctic explorers. They are only slightly thicker than the original Explorer pants which are very lightweight. Also, these were very form fitting and since I bought them for a trip, didn't think they would look appropriate for many places. I was aware they had no pockets so I will wear my 2 year old SB urban city pants, which are Ponte but have pockets and are much more comfortable .

Really comfortable and easy to wear trouser and not especially thermal. I ordered both a small and medium size and kept the medium size as the length suited me better. I personally don’t care for cropped flared trousers and the medium sized trousers fell just at my ankle. I’m sure I’ll get plenty of wear.
