Strong Shoulder Velvet Top

Love this top - I didn't realize that it was assymetrical but I liked it. The padded shoulders and drape is flattering. The red is a nice deep red. Shirt is just so perfect, highly recommend. I'm 5'4 150 lbs and the large was perfect. It is a little cropped on the shorter side, I'm pairing it with high rise pants from Nordstrom/commando. I thought it should have been $50 not $65, but I'm still keeping it because so hard to find something elegant and dark red for holidays.

I’m shocked this was so highly rated. I love wide shoulder pieces with shoulder pads, but this was halloween costume territory. Maybe I’m just not big/tall enough at 5’3” to get the desired effect. The fabric is okay. It came with a bunch of fuzz on it that I would have had to pick off if I wanted to keep it. The zipper also feels fragile.
