Stripe Mulberry Silk Pajamas

So I really, really wanted to like these silky premium priced pajamas. They are so beautiful. However, after following hand washing instructions their very first wash, including putting them in a protective bag in cold water, mild detergent, they still shrunk just enough to make them uncomfortable to lounge and sleep in. Of course, I line dried them as well. For reference, I am 5' 6" and weigh 128-131 lbs on any given day, so i really thought a size medium would be ample fit. I unfortunately, will be returning them, and am still debating whether to re-order and give them a chance in a size Large. A footnote: the waistband is wide, which might give off a vibe of being constrictive, not sure. I wear a size 6-8 in jeans so i don't think it's my waistline, lol. But who knows?! Pajamas, in my opinion, should feel extremely comfy like my Eberjey pj's do....like butter. I hope this helps!
