Stripe Belted Seersucker Midi Shirtdress

The details, fabric and style of the dress was beautiful, but I will need to return it because it is too small. I typically wear between a 12-14, and thought it would work, but it runs small and it was not available in a size larger than 12. I recommend this brand carry more inclusive sizing, especially if their dresses run small.

Love the dress and the hidden belt is super cute. You don’t need to fiddle with getting it straight. That being said, I normally wear a size 8 in Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein and Donna Karen but this dress runs tight. Especially through the chest if you’re anything larger than a D cup. Fortunately, I was able to try on the dress in store so I was able to size up correctly. But if you’re ordering online, make sure you order a size or two up depending on your chest size.

Love the details and quality — very well made. Vertical stripes elongate; a lined bodice; armholes don’t gape & the sleeves lay nicely with the underarm gussets; pleats at the waistband so the skirt fits flat to the body. Pockets! 32” bust, 27” waist, 37” hips & my usual size 4 fits comfortably.

This dress has a gorgeous striped seersucker fabric that hides wrinkles well. The belt comes through matte gold grommets at the waist- hard to see in the pictures but a lovely detail. The edging around the shoulder is perfectly done- not so dramatic it looks like you’re taking flight but nicely accenting the shoulders. I’m usually a 4 or 6- the 6 fit perfectly. Such a high quality dress for the price- I would buy again in a different color!

Sadly, I had to return the dress because the largest size was too small for me. I hope eventually there will be more inclusive sizing- but also I can wear beside medium and size large in other brands, do I was a little surprised. The material is lovely and the design is great. I really wish I could have made it work.
