Kinga Knee High Boot (Women)

I could not believe the price on these fun snakeskin boots. Most I have been looking at are over $1K. I'm happy to pay $1K now and then for a quality boot that I can wear with everything, but it is never worth spending that on a trendy fashion piece. I thought "I don't need those"...but for the quality and the the trend, I thought, "Oh what the heck, I will just try them on for fun (I was traveling). I asked the sales person to bring both a 10 and an 11. I wear a 9.5, but since they are pointy, I always go up. So first I tried on the blue ones in the 11...and they were unbelievable comfortable. I never buy an 11, but OMG...they are high heeled and sexy. And I could walk all over the store in them. Because they are a size up, they are a little big in the shaft...but that just made me feel like a skinny model...whose boots are always loose in the calf. The blue are super soft, a subtle snack print, and look very luxurious. OK...so I will be buying those. I decided to try on every color. That's right. And next were the pink. Pink! But they read a neutral ivory. The pink have a more distinct snake print. In a good way. these were not quite as soft, but also in a good way. So I tried on every color and decided to go with the pink and blue as I have never seen those colors and they look completely different. I also have terrible feet, and these were seriously easy to walk in, a good footed that I don't always find with boots that cost 10X more. Generally it is the fit that makes me put the cheaper shoes back on the shelf, but in this case, quite the opposite! So there was no reason not to buy them, and for the price, I can have two pairs of trendy boots without guilt. Lastly, I did a check, already sure that for this piece they could not be leather, and they are not...man-made materials. Truth be told, I did hesitate. But then I thought...I am buying 2 pairs of really cute, statement boots that will transform any outfit, for a fraction of the price of leather. And potentially thousands less than real water snake. And the benefit of man-made materials is that they will be so precious if you get caught in the rain and snow. So...if you are like me and normally buy quality pieces, but everything is a sea of black and grey, you get bored. Sometimes you just want to add a little color to your wardrobe, that's where these boots come in. I live in NYC and I"m very particular about being on trend and looking good. NY Women do not play. Fashion is what we do here. I buy a lot of expensive boots from Isabel Marant, Loeffler Randall, Rag & Bone as well as Jimmy Choo and Prada. They all cost a fortune and sometimes I don't wear them enough because they are so nice. So, what's the point? I won't worry about these! I"ll wear them to the farmer's market. To those who are skeptical, my style is combining high/low. I will pair these with a quality black Prada or Isabel Marant dress, and everyone will think they are designer. I recently bought an incredible waxed long trend coat with side slits (great style) at the flagship Target store for $39, and everyone asks me where I got it. I do believe in investing in pieces that you will wear forever, but for trendy items, don't spend so much. And add a little color to your life. These will make you smile every time you put them on.

I have wanted a snake print boot for awhile and have not found one of good quality at a price I wanted to pay - until I found these! I wear size 8 in boots, so I decided to try them on in both 8 and 8-1/2. Both sizes fit, but the 8-1/2 provided a little more room in the foot in case I want to wear a thin sock or footie. I don't have an athletic calf, but my calves are not thin either. I was surprised to find I could pull them up easily and they were not too confining. Even though the boot is a synthetic material, they feel soft and look way more expensive than they are. Some of us don't have hundreds/thousands of $ to spend on boots. This pair proves you can look fashionable without breaking the bank! These boots rock!

Needed a pair of boots with heels to wear to a meeting where the weather is going to be freezing or close to it, these will be perfect with the pair of fleece tights shown in the picture OR with socks and a regular pair of tights. I also tried them on with skinny jeans and they will work with those, too. After reading some reviews, I decided to go up a half size and purchase an 8 (I am usually a 7.5 in most brands, including Steve Madden). I was worried that these boots would slouch, which they do a little, but for the most part they are snug around my calf and seem to stay up. Heel height is professional. They seem to be good quality for the price - very happy with this purchase!
