Le Phyto-Rouge Lipstick

Orange Acapulco is a striking, coral-toned creamy orange that shows up as a super bright red on my neutral-toned fair skin (I wear NYX Can’t Stop Won’t Stop in Alabaster; not sure what the MAC equivalent shade is). The formula is a moisturizing satin, but a quick blot makes it fairly matte. Unlike many satin lipsticks, Sisley’s Phyto Rouge doesn’t seem to need lip pencil to look polished or enhance staying power- it just looks great all day somehow, requiring only a little touch-up after eating. The packaging is incredibly beautiful and rounds out the full luxury experience of using it. It makes me feel like a Disney villainess in the best possible way!

It’s my first ever Sisley purchase and I love this Le Phyto Rouge lipstick in shade 11 (Beige Tahiti). I only look for videos on YT as there is no Sisley Paris counter where I live to decide what shade I like. Very creamy to apply and slightly matte effect when its dry. Hoping they will produce more shades of nude. Bought it using my Nordstrom card to earn x6 reward points. Thank you Nordstrom.

Love the nourishing quality, melt into your lip texture, and the moisturized not so matte, matte in colors beige Manhattan & rose portofino. Best lipstick Ive tried. Level up from Chantecaille. Chanel feels dry after using these. The Sisley colors are so beautiful and the quality is as good as it gets. Feels like a lip treatment. Lips are so hydrated and just look so plush and glamorous. The liner is not necessary, but I prefer to use one for lasting. The color doesn't run or smudge without one, but I find chocolat works well with beige Manhattan and tea rose with rose portofino. Lasting is good, perhaps a few hours or so, depending on water consumption throughout the day. I'm lighter skinned (vanilla in chantecaille foundation) and these colors don't wash me out. They are the just right amount of color. Highly recommended. The price point is the only downside, However, I'd rather have one of these than 2 chanel lipsticks. These are much better than chanel Rouge Coco or Allure, incl the allure matte version. Sisley, please cool it on the price increases.

Beige Manhattan, my first Sisley lipstick purchase...and just like that, I’m sold. I am the MOST picky lipstick person ever! No exaggeration. After wearing this lipstick all day, I am a loyal customer of Sisley. You have to try it. Most comfortable of all lipsticks I’ve tried, and I’ve tried many, trust me on that one. This formula has been called a demi matte. I hate mattes, but I had no idea I was wearing a Demi matte (which I guess is a cross between a satin and a matte). It is so comfortable. Beige Manhattan is a gorgeous every day color. It will live in my purse!

I bought the rose portofino shade after researching online (stores were all closed due to Covid-19 when I placed my order). Unfortunately this lipstick doesn't work for me. Not sure if it's the color or the formula, but it looks like a lip balm on my lips and the staying power is basically non existent. I hope I can still return this lipstick to Nordstrom now that I've used it once.
