The Plum color is rather drab, indoors it almost takes on a flat brownish/plum look. Some of the low pile ‘velour’ had some spots on it that were sort of smashed down and wouldn’t fluff up with a soft brush. But more importantly was the lack of claimed comfort of this brand. The sole does bend with movement which is a plus. The insole is barely padded. The heel hight o the size 9 is 3.75 measured from the back of the shoe bottom of the heel to the top of the heel, and 3.25 from the inside of the heel, bottom to top. This angle just wasn’t comfortable for all day wear. Also too, while I do not have a high instep, the part that goes over tops of the toes kind of digs just didn’t work for me.

Very cushioned inside and pretty comfy for a heel. I love the plum….somehow they are almost neutral and feel like they can go with many outfits which I was not expecting. They feel fun a quirky but not too crazy that I can’t wear them to work to cuten up some outfits. I wear a 9 and the 9 fit well.

One shoe arrived with a broken buckle that I had to repair, but the shoes are beautiful and comfortable. I've worn them for several full-day standing events and had no blisters nor sore feet. Please note, the shoes are square toe with a block heel so they feel a bit less formal and more approachable in appearance. Nonetheless, they bring a special touch to attire worthy of compliments.
