Leather Trucker Jacket with Genuine Sheepskin Collar

I'm surprised no one has posted a review of this amazing piece just yet, and so I'll happily do the honors: I've eyed Schott jackets for some years now, mainly because all of their pieces have such a classic "American cool" look to them. The moment I spotted this one inside of the Nordstrom SF flagship store, it was instant love. It looks a bit bulky on a hanger, but the fit is very streamlined and sleek - a slim cut for sure. The color is incredible and will only get even more beautiful with age, especially in constrast with the shearling collar, and this is an amazingly WARM jacket. I'm tempted to wear it to my hometown of Chicago for Christmas vacation -- and any jacket that can stand up to Chicago winter winds AND look timelessly cool is beyond me. Speaking of timeless, I can see my little boy inheriting this jacket one day and wearing it during his college years -- and getting nonstop compliments. This piece is a true classic - timeless cool. I just wish it had been part of the Black Friday sale!

I have 5-6 leather coats. This by far the best and highest quality I have ever seen. No expense has been spared and every attention to detail is to make this the best it can be. This coat easily should sell for $2K or more. I bought XL. I am 6'2" 195# with extra long arms at 36/37 shirt arm length. My chest is 42. It fits me perfectly, even with my longer arms, and average size chest. It fits somewhere in between a slim and regular fit. It is not too slim, but is is not overly baggy either. It is very heavy, but not in a bad way...it just scream quality looking at it and confirms it when you pick it up. Great job Schott on making the best leather coats in the world...and selling them at a price that the average person can afford. Sorry Gucci, Versace, Hugo, Canada Goose, Schott has got you all beat. I saw this jacket last year (2022) by the time I decided to buy it was SOLD OUT. Got it this year (2023) and man oh man, it was definitely worth the wait. It fits perfectly and the construction of the jacket is unmatched! Yes, its pricey, but you get what you pay for. I'm sure it will last for many seasons.
