Faux Shearling Coat

I bought this faux shearling Coat in size medium and I love it. I love the color and the collar which is classic yet updated. It’s very long and I am very short and I love that. It runs a little small but pretty much true to size. I weigh 124 pounds and I took the size medium and it’s not too big but it gives me a little room. I’ve been looking for this kind of code for a couple of years and I’m ready for the cold weather now.

I absolutely love this coat - as soon as I tried it on I knew I was keeping it. I really really wanted this to work, but it sheds like crazy. It’s not noticeable at first, but then I wore a black turtleneck with it and saw tons of little shimmery fibers all over my shirt. I’m still debating if I want to keep it, I love it that much. But I’m leaning more and more towards returning bc even after using a lint roller, it’s still shedding on everything.

This coat is very soft and the faux shearling texture is plush. I’ve been looking for a coat like this and I love the Mink color. I wear Small in SE coats so I knew my size. I am tall and the length is just a little below my knee which is perfect. I don’t want a long coat. The side slits are probably my least favorite thing. Everything else about this coat is perfect. It’s really warm with a heavier weight. The collar isn’t too bulky like many faux furs.

My regular size is tight in the shoulders. Not a problem I have had before. Next size up is on its way and I hope it works. This coat is nothing like I thought I wanted yet it is my favorite. No zipper, longer length, unusual color, polyester, dry clean only. Can wear for both dressy and with jeans. Glad I tried it on. Next challenge is to find a hat . .
